New Call of Duty: Black Ops PC Patch In The Works

After the last Call of Duty: Black Ops PC Patch brought a much needed performance boost for dual and quad core processors, Josh Olin ( Treyarch’s community Manager ) has stated on the Black Ops official forum that the team is working on a new patch for the pc version of the game.

This upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops PC Patch is supposed to fix the “GPU hitching” that appears on some video cards, the incomplete server browser results, and “the game session is no longer available” error that sometimes appears in the Zombies game-mode. The patch will also bring improvements to Quick Match joins (better ping and reduced lag).

After the worldwide November 9th release, a lot of players reported that the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops is having performance issues like lag, freezing and stuttering.

In an attempt to reduce the Black Ops lag, GameServers.com ( the Call of Duty: Black Ops exclusive dedicated server provider ) has increased sv_maxrate to 25000 across all servers. The company is said to continue to improve the server distribution across various regions of the globe.

The time has come for us to start owning again, a couple of the lads have this pre ordered and i will be getting my copy tommorow.
